The Jr. Animal Scientist program is a great resource in the classroom and FFA, 4-H and other youth programs. View the Teaching Guide

Benefits:

  • Each child will receive a subscription to the Jr. Animal Scientist magazine (sent to the school/club), featuring articles about scientific concepts, interesting careers and activities for kids. The magazine comes out six times per year.

  • Each school/club will receive access to an exclusive Jr. Animal Scientist section at AnimalSmart.org to share with their students.

  • Each school/club will receive a monthly Jr. Animal Scientist e-newsletter to share with their students.

  • The teacher/club leader will receive a Jr. Animal Scientist backpack

  • Each child will receive a Jr. Animal Scientist water bottle (sent to the school/club).

Jr. Animal Scientists receive access to special resources on AnimalSmart.org. For example, the very first issue of Jr. Animal Scientist focuses on "The science of milk," so the special resources focus on dairy, too.
